Anne Wenger and Christine Mongenet, cloth and jewellery designers have worked together for this show, creating colourful pieces in a delicate and subtle style. The jewels, a mosaic of stones and beads embroidered with copper thread, invade the body to become garments. The cloths are in a very simple graphic style that can be compared to Japanese designs ; textiles are enriched through dyes, paints or various calligraphic silk-screen painting. In this magical baroque show, finery and cloths are articulated, overlaid… becoming quite balanced at the end.

Woman loves cloths and fashion accessories ; the best way to “titillate” her interest consists in showing many unique and custom-tailored pieces, pleated accessories and evening dresses, all in a combination of harmonious textiles in rich and startling colours.
